Shea Sassy Across The Pond

In May this year, my soaps and I went on a trip across the pond all the way to Texas to attend the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild annual conference. It was here my knowledge and love for soap was tested to the max as I underwent the HSCG soap making examinations in order to receive my advanced certificates.

I passed with flying colours and finished top of the class and can now call myself a certified soap maker! With this official certificate I am now a certified member of the Soap Guild, which is a globally recognised award and allows me to create and sell my handmade soaps. You can bathe in the knowledge that Shea Sassy soaps have been made with the utmost attention to detail and care!

By far the best part of the trip was meeting other equally enthusiastic soap makers which I hope to stay in touch with over the years to come. What I learned most whilst on my handmade soap making trip is the realisation of what I have achieved over the last 3 years, and how far my handmade soaps and I have come. I am very proud to call myself an artisan soap maker and hope my passion for indulgent scents, and obsession for restorative natural ingredients, will keep me making soaps for many decades to come.

Welcome to Shea Sassy.
